Interstitial lung disease (ILD) necessitates a multidisciplinary approach, prompt diagnosis, adequate imaging interpretation, and meticulous clinical evaluation. Combining these crucial elements, RHL & State Chapter of ICS is hosting an ILD Masterclass in Jaipur that focuses on discussion and hands-on learning related to the diagnosis and treatment of ILD. The masterclass will be held on 22 August 2026, from 7:00 PM at Holiday Inn, 22 Godam Circle, Jaipur. Registration for the programme is free and mandatory. The programme will be moderated by Dr. Virendra Singh, MD, Chairman of Rajasthan Hospital, Jaipur, and recipient of an English respiratory fellowship. He will also lead an important academic session focused on the early recognition of Interstitial Lung Disease.

Recognizing Early ILD: Avoiding Diagnostic Pitfalls

One of the main topics on the masterclass program is early recognition. In addition to emphasizing diagnostic errors that could complicate clinical assessment, the workshop will concentrate on recognizing ILD at an earlier stage.

The focus of this seminar, which is set for 8:00 PM to 8:20 PM, is on early detection of interstitial lung disease and potential diagnostic errors during examination. The topic reflects one of the central themes of the masterclass: improving understanding of how ILD may be recognised and approached more effectively in clinical practice.

The session’s emphasis on “avoiding diagnostic pitfalls” also makes it especially pertinent from an educational standpoint since it challenges participants to carefully consider the variables that could affect the diagnosis and evaluation of ILD.

Key Topics of the ILD Masterclass

The training program is designed to address various aspects of clinical decision-making and ILD assessment.

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM | ILD Quiz

An interactive academic start to the evening is created by the program’s ILD-focused quiz.

8:00 PM – 8:20 PM | Recognizing Early ILD: Avoiding Diagnostic Pitfalls

This session, led by Dr. Virendra Singh, emphasizes the significance of identifying ILD early and comprehending potential difficulties during diagnosis.

8:20 PM – 8:40 PM | HRCT Pearls: Imaging Cues that Change Diagnosis and Management

Important HRCT imaging cues and their significance in the diagnosis and treatment procedure are the main topics of this section.

8:40 PM – 9:00 PM | Antigen Identification & Avoidance in Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis

Antigen identification and avoidance as crucial factors in hypersensitivity pneumonitis are discussed in this session.

9:00 PM – 9:45 PM | Live Multidisciplinary Discussion: One Patient, Many Perspectives

The final academic section will present a clinical scenario from a multidisciplinary perspective, showing how various points of view might aid in the assessment of a patient with complex lung illness.

Bringing Key ILD Discussions Together

The ILD Masterclass 2026 is a three-hour academic event that combines a number of targeted subjects. The schedule covers a variety of ILD evaluation and management topics, from an interactive ILD quiz and early illness detection to HRCT interpretation, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and interdisciplinary discussion. Dr. Virendra Singh’s session on early ILD recognition and diagnostic pitfalls forms an important part of the programme. His participation as a moderator positions him in the context of the evening’s larger scholarly debates. The program offers learners interested in interstitial lung disease an organized way to interact with real-world issues and interdisciplinary viewpoints in one concentrated session.
